Academic Advisory Board for Teaching and Studies
The Academic Advisory Board for Teaching and Studies is a parity-based committee (i.e., representing all status groups: professors, academic staff, and students) that provides advisory support to the CERES Directorate in all matters relating to teaching. As a rule, the Directorate follows the recommendations of the Academic Advisory Board.
The Board’s principal responsibilities include:
- the coordination, review, and strategic development of the curriculum in Religious Studies,
- the revision and reform of the degree programs, particularly their examination and study regulations,
- the evaluation of degree programs and individual courses, including the preparation of the annual teaching report,
- the convening of the subject-specific Examination Board where necessary.
The committee meets at least three times per semester and, if required, more frequently. The following individuals currently serve as members of the Academic Advisory Board:
